What is Blasteon:
Blasteon is a game that gets it's theme from games you may know such as Asteroids or Geometry Wars. Fight endless waves of enemies and compete for the high score! Upgrade your ship and find the best combinations of weapons to obtain the highest score.

Installation:
Currently supported platforms are Windows
First you need to extract the .rar file to a path of your choosing. For windows users, you will need to ensure that the .net 4.5 framework is installed and available.

This game may run on Mac and Linux but is untested. If you want to, you will need to have mono installed and run the game with the mono command. Please let me know the results you get!

Controls:
To move you use the "WASD" keys. You aim where you want to shoot. When you have a secondary weapon you can click on the button in the bottom right of the screen to activate it. The upgrade and pause menu is accessible by pressing on the square in the top right hand of the screen. Pressing the "Esc" will exit the game

The game has quite a pacing problem. There are situations in which the pressure is really up (like, instantly), and then there are situations in which you are really just waiting for the game to "continue", as a player (at least for me, let's put it that way :-) -- my point is, the pace is either 1 or 0, there seems to be nothing in-between.

Also, readability is a major issue. Some ships seem to damage me, others don't seem to do it -- overall, the game is pretty, but it's hard to understand what's actually happening on the screen.

Thank you for the feedback. I have some ideas to level out the pacing a bit and will get to work on it. 

I'm not sure why some ships would not seem to damage you. I will look further into that as all ships should damage the player unless you currently have shields available.
